ELEO recognized as a top provider in the “Garden” sector – ELEO fence systems wins the Life and Living Award 2025 & 2024
The “Life & Living Award” is presented by the news channel ntv and the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ for short) and honors companies that impress with outstanding customer satisfaction when providing products and services for better living and home. Based on more than 50,000 customer opinions and over 600 providers, ELEO fence systems was named in 2025 as one of Germany’s three most popular providers in the “Fences and Gates” category. In 2024, the company received the award as “Germany’s Most Popular Provider” in the “Railings” category.

After being recognized as the most popular provider in the “Railings” category in 2024, the renewed honor underlines the high customer satisfaction and the excellent quality of the entire range. ELEO strives to continue offering its customers innovative, high-quality products that meet the highest standards of safety and design.
ELEO has been awarded the “Digital Champions 2025” quality seal
ELEO received the DEUTSCHLAND TEST seal “Digital Champions 2025” in the category of garden fence shops. The renowned study by DEUTSCHLAND TEST and FOCUS Money thus recognizes ELEO’s digital innovative strength and strategic foresight.
The comprehensive analysis was conducted by ServiceValue GmbH in cooperation with the Institute for Management and Economic Research (IMWF) on behalf of Deutschland Test and Focus Money. Around 14,900 companies were evaluated using a two-stage model. The aim was to identify those companies that address the challenges of digitalization particularly successfully and shape their industry through technological innovation.
We are one of Germany’s best online shops
In summer 2024, ELEO Express received the award “Germany’s Best Online Shops”. This well-known award is presented by the news channel ntv and the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ for short) based on a detailed survey of consumers from all over Germany. As part of the survey, around 70,000 opinions are collected, which determine who belongs to the best providers. Evaluation criteria include value for money, product range, customer service, website, shipping and returns, and ordering conditions.
At ELEO Express, customers can find handcrafted wrought-iron products such as fences, railings, and gates that are shipped directly from stock. Our modern shop was able to meet all DISQ criteria to the fullest satisfaction – and we are now delighted to have received the award “Germany’s Best Online Shops” in the categories “Garden Fences” and “Railings”.

BAVARIA’S BEST 50 and Bavarian Businesswoman of the Year
ELEO has received two special awards. On the one hand, the renowned BAVARIA’S BEST 50 prize – and on the other hand, Managing Director Katrin Weinkauf was named “Bavarian Businesswoman of the Year 2023”.
The BAVARIA’S BEST 50 prize is awarded annually by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs. The nominees are medium-sized companies with particularly strong growth that have been able to increase their turnover and the number of employees above average in recent years. Selection criteria for the exclusive “Bavarian Businesswoman of the Year” award include, among other things, the company’s outstanding economic success and the active role within the business. The entire ELEO team is especially proud of this award and of the recognition of our Managing Director.

Nominated for the “Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Businesses”
The Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Businesses is one of the established and most sought-after business awards in Germany and is presented by the Oskar Patzelt Foundation. Each year, outstanding medium-sized companies from industry, services, trade, crafts, and commerce are honored. The renowned competition is organized on a voluntary basis and financed exclusively privately. It is also subject to a quality management system certified in accordance with DIN ISO 9001:2015.
ELEO GmbH – with its forward-looking concept of selling custom-made fence systems, pavilions, and garden products made of handcrafted wrought iron exclusively via online retail – was also nominated for the 2022 award. This meant we reached the final nomination round and were one of the final 450 candidates for the coveted prize.
We are Digital Champions of the year 2021
What can be achieved with digitalization is demonstrated by ELEO through a consistent and ongoing strategy for the online sales of our fence systems and pavilions. This business model was awarded the Digital Champions 2021 prize in 2022, which makes us very proud.
The award honoring companies that successfully combine stationary retail with online retail is presented by Bavaria’s Minister of Economic Affairs, Hubert Aiwanger. A total of five “Digital Champions in Bavarian Retail” were honored.
ELEO is among the pioneers in digitalization because we combine the traditional craft of blacksmithing with modern e-commerce. As a growth-oriented family business that relies exclusively on digital sales channels, we fulfill individual customer wishes – made to measure, uncomplicated, and always in personal exchange.
At ELEO, traditional blacksmith craftsmanship meets digitalization
Under the ELEO umbrella brand, our four online shops – ELEO Zaun, ELEO Pavillon, ELEO Garten, and ELEO Express – serve Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, and the Netherlands. All four shops offer a unique user experience – because the wrought-iron fences, gates, pavilions, and garden decorations can be customized online and adapted to personal wishes regarding size, shape, and coating.
