Life & Living Award 2026, 2025 & 2024
The “Life & Living Award” is presented by the news channel ntv in cooperation with the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ) and recognises companies that excel in customer satisfaction in the fields of living and lifestyle.
For ELEO GmbH, this award has become a confirmation of consistent quality:
In 2026, we were honoured in two categories – “Fences & Gates” and “Pergolas”. The award was based on a large-scale consumer survey with around 44,000 votes, in which 591 companies were evaluated. The assessment covered overall satisfaction, trust, value for money, customer service, product range, brand image and product quality.

In 2025, we were recognised as one of the three most popular providers in Germany in the category “Fences and Gates”, and in 2024 we were awarded “Germany’s most popular provider” in the category “Railings”.

Germany’s Best Training Companies & Germany’s Best Employers 2026
ELEO GmbH was recognised by both DEUTSCHLAND TEST and DQBG (German Quality & Rating Association) as one of Germany’s best training companies and as a particularly attractive employer.
The “Germany’s Best Training Companies 2026” award by DEUTSCHLAND TEST was based on an analysis of around 17,000 companies, including online mentions, social media data and surveys. ELEO was named industry winner.
DQBG also recognised ELEO in its study on Germany’s best training companies 2026, confirming the high quality of training within the company.
The “Germany’s Best Employers 2026” study by DQBG evaluates employer quality based on population surveys, AI-supported online analysis and company data. Key factors include future viability, work-life balance, development opportunities and family friendliness. A minimum overall rating of 4 stars is required. ELEO also performed strongly here.

Digital Champion 2026 & 2025
ELEO GmbH was recognised in both 2025 and 2026 in the “Digital Champion” study by DEUTSCHLAND TEST and FOCUS Money and is therefore among the leading companies in the “Garden Fence Shops” category.
The 2025 award was based on an analysis of around 14,900 companies, examining both public perception and internal digital performance. The study was conducted by ServiceValue GmbH in cooperation with the Institute for Management and Economic Research (IMWF).
In 2026, the study was expanded to include around 16,500 companies. In addition to analysing millions of online mentions through social listening, internal processes, data, communication and structures were evaluated. ELEO once again achieved a strong position and was awarded again – including as industry winner.
This repeated recognition as a “Digital Champion” confirms our consistent approach and underlines our ambition to continuously develop digital processes and shape them for the future.

Nominated for the “Grand Prize of Medium-Sized Businesses” 2022
The “Grand Prize of Medium-Sized Businesses” is one of the most prestigious business awards in Germany and is presented by the Oskar Patzelt Foundation. Each year, medium-sized companies from industry, services, trade and crafts are recognised for outstanding economic performance and sustainable business practices.
In 2022, ELEO GmbH was nominated for this award and reached the jury stage of the competition, placing it among the final 450 candidates.
We see this nomination as recognition of our approach to successfully offering customised fencing systems, pavilions and garden products made of handcrafted wrought iron through online retail.

BAVARIA’S BEST 50 & Bavarian Entrepreneur of the Year 2023
ELEO GmbH received the “BAVARIA’S BEST 50” award in 2023. In addition, Managing Director Katrin Weinkauf was honoured as “Bavarian Entrepreneur of the Year 2023”.
The “BAVARIA’S BEST 50” award is presented annually by the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy. It recognises medium-sized companies that have demonstrated particularly strong growth in recent years, based on factors such as revenue and employee development.
The “Bavarian Entrepreneur of the Year” award honours economic success as well as active leadership and responsibility within the company.
These honours confirm the positive development of ELEO GmbH and the work of our entire team. We are proud of this recognition and see it as motivation to consistently continue on our path.

Digital Champions in Bavarian Retail 2021
For several years, ELEO GmbH has been pursuing a consistent digitalisation strategy in the sale of fencing systems and pavilions, with the aim of offering customers a modern and flexible shopping experience.
A key element of this strategy is digital configuration: in ELEO’s online shops, customers can individually plan and design their wrought iron fences, gates and pavilions.
As part of this development, several digitalisation projects have been successfully implemented. For this, ELEO GmbH was recognised in 2021 as a “Digital Champion in Bavarian Retail”. The certificate was presented by State Secretary for Economic Affairs Roland Weigert.
The award is presented by the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy in cooperation with ibi research at the University of Regensburg and DATEV eG. Its aim is to recognise companies that successfully combine brick-and-mortar retail with digital solutions.
